Tariff and charges
How a delivery charge is built: chargeable weight, zone, service, and the only two cases where a failed delivery is charged.
One engine prices every parcel. The calculator on the public site, the booking form, the CSV import, the checkout rate on your store and the charge on your statement all call the same module, so they cannot disagree.
Chargeable weight
- 01Take the actual weightIn grams, as weighed. The warehouse re-weighs on intake and a correction writes a new charge version rather than editing the old one.
- 02Work out the dimensional weightLength by width by height in centimetres, divided by 5000. It only applies when actual weight is at most 5 kg, because above that the real weight always governs.
- 03Take the greater of the twoThat is the weight that gets charged.
- 04Round up to the next 0.5 kgThe rounding is on whole grams, not on decimal kilograms. 1.26 kg becomes 1.5 kg; 1.5 kg stays 1.5 kg.
The published Lahore tariff
Produced by the QCS rate engine from rate card QCS Lahore COD Tariff v1 v1.
Every figure in that table is produced live by the rate engine from the active rate card, not typed into this page. Beyond the last row the same per-unit step continues.
Zones
The coverage page lists the eleven road points that mark where the extended area begins, with the map. An address is placed in a zone by its coordinates, which is why picking an address suggestion at booking time matters.
Services
What is included
- All published rates are inclusive of sales tax and of the fuel adjustment. There is no separate line added at invoicing.
- COD handling is included in the rate. There is no percentage cut of the cash collected.
- Up to 3 delivery attempts are included. Re-attempting a parcel does not add a charge.
- Returning an undelivered parcel to you is not charged.
The only two chargeable failures
Charges apply to delivered parcels. Two exceptions exist, both narrow, both needing evidence, and both applied by an administrator with a reason on the record rather than automatically.
