Nine out of ten parcels a Pakistani online seller ships are paid for at the door. Everything in this operation is arranged around proving what happened to that cash.

The company

QCS Private Limited, operating from Gulberg

QCS — Quick Courier Service — is a cash-on-delivery last-mile network for Pakistani online sellers. Instagram and Facebook shops, standalone stores, marketplace sellers and offline retailers who have started shipping. We collect from the seller, consolidate at our Lahore warehouse, deliver to the buyer, collect the cash and remit it after the delivery charge.

The company is QCS Private Limited, powered by Gloging Pvt Ltd. The platform was designed and built by Saboor Malik. Operations run from P2 35 Jeff Heights, Gulberg 3, Lahore, which is both the head office and the warehouse.

We launched in Lahore on purpose. A COD network earns trust by settling correctly and explaining itself, and that is easier to do well in one city with one warehouse than badly in fifteen. Cities are added when there are riders, a route and a drawn zone to go with them.

How we operate

Four commitments that shape the system

These are not values on a wall. Each one is a constraint somebody had to build around.

  • Evidence over assertion

    Every operational claim has a record behind it: a scan, a photograph, a signature or a reason code with free text. If we cannot evidence it, we do not assert it.

  • Explain the money

    A seller should be able to see why a charge is what it is, which weight was used, which zone applied and which rate card version produced the figure. All of that is on the order.

  • Correct, never overwrite

    Ledger entries and status history are append-only. A mistake is fixed with a reversing entry or a new record, so the original is always still there to audit.

  • Tell the customer

    The buyer hears from us at four points without having to ask. Less chasing for the seller and fewer refused parcels at the door.
