What QCS does

A courier built around cash on delivery, not one that tolerates it.

Most of the work in COD is not driving. It is proving what was collected, what was refused and what is owed. That is what this service is organised around.

Delivery categories

Three services live, two defined and waiting

Categories are administered in the back-office, each with its own rate, cut-off and operational rules. Nothing is enabled before it is ready.

  • Standard

The default Lahore service. PKR 180 for the first 0.5 kg, PKR 40 for each additional 0.5 kg. Collected on your pickup day, delivered on the next run for the area.

    Live · 48 hour target

  • Express / Same Day

PKR 250 for the first 0.5 kg, PKR 50 for each additional 0.5 kg. Pickup must happen before 13:00 for same-day delivery, and the system refuses an express booking after the cut-off rather than quietly missing it.

    Live · same day

  • Return to Shipper

The return leg for a cancelled or undelivered parcel. Not charged by default under tariff term 1. The parcel comes back through an inbound re-scan and is handed to you against a signature.

    Live · no charge

  • Overnight / Next Day

Defined in the system with its own rate row and cut-off so it can be switched on without a code change. Disabled at launch.

    Defined · disabled at launch

  • Replacement / Exchange

A delivery paired with a collection at the same address, for sellers who swap sizes and faulty items. Defined in the system and disabled at launch.

How orders reach us

Five ways in, one pipeline out

However an order arrives, it lands in the same status machine, gets the same frozen charge snapshot and the same audit trail.

  1. 01

    Book one at a time

A single form with address autocomplete, zone resolution and a live charge preview before you commit.

    Merchant portal

  2. 02

    Import a CSV

Upload a sheet, map your columns once, and get a row-by-row validation report before anything is committed. Rejected rows come back with the field and the reason.

  3. 03

    Connect Shopify

Install the connector, pick whether orders import on creation or on fulfilment, and QCS writes the tracking number back to the Shopify order.

    Two minutes to connect

  4. 04

    Connect WooCommerce

A paired-key plugin for WordPress. Quote the delivery charge at checkout from the same engine, print labels from WP admin, and push tracking back to the order.

  5. 05

    Call the REST API

Key and secret authentication, idempotent order creation, signed webhooks for every status change, and a request log you can read.

What happens between your counter and the door

A booked order is not collectable until it is forwarded to the pickup queue. That is deliberate: it keeps your drafts and your committed parcels apart. If you would rather not do it by hand, set an auto-pickup time and the sweep forwards every eligible order at that time, logging the run so you can see exactly what was swept and what was skipped.

Pickup requests are auto-assigned to an available pickup rider. The rider gets the merchant name, address, window, parcel count, contact number and a map link. At your counter he scans each label. Scanned parcels become collected. Anything missing is marked with a reason code and free text, returns to your Booked tab and appears in the summary message you receive when the run closes.

Back at the warehouse every parcel is inbound-scanned before it counts as stock, and that scan is what notifies your customer that the parcel has reached us. Back-office then builds a delivery run, the rider sequences his own stops in the order that makes sense on the road, and the run is released.

On the doorstep the rider either completes the delivery with a photograph, the receiver name and a cash confirmation, or records a hold or a refusal with a reason and an evidence photograph. Undelivered parcels travel back and are re-scanned on arrival, which increments the attempt counter and keeps the reason attached to that attempt. After the configured threshold the order is cancelled and queued for return to you.

Rates for every service

The same table the rate engine reads. Express carries its own base and step, and the extended area adds a flat charge to both.

See what your parcels would cost

Put a real weight and a real size into the calculator. It uses the same engine that will charge the order, so the number you see is the number you get.
