The QCS referral programme: how it works and what it pays

Introduce a seller who ships COD in Lahore and earn banded commission, from PKR 1,000 at 100 parcels to PKR 20,000 above 2,000. How the bands work, when a parcel counts, and the three rejection reasons.

If you know a seller who ships cash on delivery in Lahore, you can introduce them to QCS and be paid for the volume they actually give us. The commission is banded by parcel count, it is published rather than negotiated, and it is paid against a bank account you maintain yourself.

This is how the programme works, what it pays, and the three things that will get a referral rejected.

What it pays

Commission is banded on the parcels your referred client sends. The bands are published on the referral programme page and priced from the live plan rather than from copy, so the figures there are the figures in force.

  • 100 to 249 parcels: PKR 1,000
  • 250 to 499 parcels: PKR 2,500
  • 500 to 999 parcels: PKR 5,000
  • 1,000 to 1,499 parcels: PKR 10,000
  • 1,500 to 1,999 parcels: PKR 15,000
  • 2,000 parcels and above: PKR 20,000

When a parcel counts

A parcel counts towards your band when QCS collects it, not when it is delivered. That is a deliberate difference from how a seller is charged, and the reasoning is worth stating because it looks inconsistent otherwise.

A seller is charged only for a successfully delivered parcel, because a charge is payment for work finished. Commission counts collection, because it rewards you for volume the client actually gave QCS, and a refusal at the door is the consignee's decision rather than anything you influenced. Changing either basis to match the other would be wrong in both directions.

How the programme runs, end to end

  1. 01Register as a referrer and verify a mobile number
  2. 02Sign in at your own page. A referrer account is separate from a merchant, a rider and staff, and it can see nothing in QCS except your own referrals and your own money
  3. 03Submit a client: who they are and how to reach them
  4. 04QCS reviews the submission and either accepts or rejects it, with the decision visible to you
  5. 05An accepted client is onboarded as a merchant and attached to your referral
  6. 06As they ship, commission accrues against the published bands and appears in your commission ledger
  7. 07Commission is released to your payout account once it is due

You are notified at the points that matter: when a referral is approved, when it is rejected, when commission becomes due, and when it is paid.

The three things that get a referral rejected

The client is already a QCS merchant

Or is already attached to somebody else's referral. A client can only be referred once, which is checked rather than trusted.

You referred yourself, or a business you run

A referral is an introduction to somebody else. Submitting your own business is refused, and the refusal names the reason rather than failing silently.

The contact details do not reach the client

If we cannot make contact, we cannot onboard them, and an unreachable submission is rejected. Give a number the client answers and tell them to expect a call. A referral the client does not know about converts badly and is the most common avoidable rejection.

What the referrer portal shows you

  • A dashboard of your referrals and where each one has reached
  • The submit-a-client form
  • Your client list with the decision on each
  • Your commission ledger, line by line, with the band that produced each line
  • Your payout account, which you maintain
  • Your profile

That is the whole surface. A referrer cannot see a merchant's orders, a merchant's statement or anything belonging to another referrer, and that scoping is enforced server-side rather than by hiding a menu item.

Keeping your payout account current

The account commission is paid into lives on your own payout page and you maintain it. Change it there rather than telling anyone, because a bank detail passed verbally is a bank detail nobody can audit. The change is rate-limited and logged, for the obvious reason: it is the one action on the account that moves where money goes.

Who this is actually for

Not an affiliate scheme and not a link you drop in a group. It pays for introductions to real sellers who then ship real volume, and the bands start at 100 parcels, so a client who sends twelve parcels and stops earns nothing.

It suits people who already talk to sellers: suppliers, packaging merchants, agency owners, accountants, and sellers who know other sellers. If you cannot name three people who ship COD in Lahore, this is probably not for you.

Before you introduce someone

Know what you are putting them into, because a referral that fails at onboarding costs you the commission and them the time. Two things worth reading first: courier charges in Lahore so you can answer the price question, and QCS or a traditional courier so you can answer the harder one honestly, including where we are not the right choice.

And know the two practical gates. A seller averaging fewer than five parcels a day is accepted but is not offered scheduled pickup, and signing up on the website creates a lead rather than an account, so the client should expect a conversation rather than instant credentials. The merchant signup form is where they start, and the referral programme page is where you do.

Booking in Lahore starts at PKR 180 for the first 0.5 kg. Work out your own figure before you commit.

Why we built QCS: the COD problem we kept running into

The recurring problem was not delivery. It was that a seller could not prove, from any record anyone would produce, what happened to one parcel and one rupee. Three decisions followed, and two mistakes.

QCS or a traditional courier: what differs for a COD seller

Six criteria that change a COD seller's numbers. We win on when your balance moves and on what you can prove per parcel. We lose on coverage and on track record, and both of those are real.

How to pack a parcel so it survives Lahore traffic and heat

A parcel is handled at least six times and may make the trip three times. Two rules cover most of it: nothing inside can move, nothing outside can come off. Plus the box size that keeps the charge down.
